Vimasco manufactures four products in special versions which are low in chlorides, fluorides, oxidizable sulfur, and other leachable contaminants which can be potential causes of stress corrosion of carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys. The intention of these products is to supply the utmost level of safety in insulation systems used on nuclear power facilities where problems arising from stress corrosion of pipes can be critical. These products are manufactured under our highest level of quality control and are fully tested by independent laboratories for compliance with appropriate governmental regulatory guides or military specifications.
